One of the restaurant’s standout dishes is the 小 茄子 と パプリカ (small eggplant with bell peppers), which bursts with fresh, vibrant vegetables in a savory sauce. This dish is the perfect balance of sweetness and umami, offering a unique twist on classic Asian flavors. Another highlight is their 海鮮春雨炒め (stir-fried seafood with glass noodles), a dish packed with succulent seafood and a delightful mix of textures. The noodles are perfectly cooked, and the seafood adds a rich, ocean-fresh taste that's simply irresistible.

For those visiting during lunchtime, the ランチセット ビーフ (beef lunch set) is an excellent choice. This set comes with a portion of tender, perfectly cooked beef, along with a variety of sides that complement the meal beautifully. It’s a satisfying and hearty option for those looking for something filling but balanced.

Another fan favorite at Bangkok Kitchen is the パッタイ 海老入り (Pad Thai with shrimp). This Thai classic is a perfect representation of what this restaurant does best-combining fresh, high-quality ingredients with bold, authentic flavors. The shrimp are tender and juicy, and the noodles are stir-fried to perfection, making this dish a must-try for anyone new to the restaurant.

“ A talented, authentic Thai restaurant tucked away in a back alley. The famous "Bangkok Kitchen" has opened as "Bangkok Kitchen Deli" at the end of a back alley in Nakameguro. The chef is from Isan and honed his skills at a top Thai hotel. The food is so delicious it's a shame it's located at the end of a back alley. I went solo. Friday, January 10, 2025 9:07 PM * Kuay Teow Nua * Som Tam * Moo Satay * Coke Kuay Teow Nua Kuay Teow is a popular noodle dish in Thailand. I was unsure what to order, but the staff mentioned it as the day's recommendation, so I went for it. It's Kuay Teow Nua Annam Tok, packed with slowly simmered beef tendon. Similar to Vietnamese pho or Japanese ramen, Thai Kuay Teow offers a wide variety of noodles, often allowing you to choose your favorite, but here it's served with standard rice noodles (sen lek). While it's sometimes topped with fish cakes (luk keing) or fried wonton skins (giao tot), this one skips the extras and focuses on beef tendon! The beef flavor is so rich it reminds me of the now-closed Kitasenju restaurant "Beef Bone Ramen Matador." The soup, infused with beef tendon collagen, has a light finish yet a rich flavor. You can also add sugar (krwampong) to enhance the richness. Som Tam Instead of salad, I ordered "Som Tam Thai," a green papaya salad. Of course, I asked for it to be spicy. While authentic Thai restaurants often serve portions that are roughly 1.5 to 2 people, this one is just the right size for one person. Even so, it feels a little pricey at over 1,000 yen, but the flavor is undeniably good. Well, Nakameguro prices, I guess. The green papaya was freshly made, so it had an excellent crunch. It probably contained about three Thai chili peppers (prik). The balance of sourness and sweetness against the spiciness was exquisite. I'm sure even Thai people would appreciate this flavor. Moo Satay Thai-style grilled pork skewers. The pork is generously marinated with spices and then grilled. The key to this marinade is the spicy, milky dipping sauce, which also contains curry powder, giving it a rather ethnic flavor. While chicken is commonly used in Muslim regions, pork is popular in Thailand. The sweet and spicy pork skewers with a curry flavor are addictive. I ate it all, and it was delicious. Bangkok Kitchen Deli Nakameguro Branch is a Thai restaurant that opened in January 2023. Originally a Thai restaurant run by Bangkok Kitchen Co., Ltd., founded in 2003, the company opened its first location in Ginza Corridor Street in 2005 and expanded to Marunouchi, Yurakucho, Akasaka, Shinjuku, and other areas. Its authentic Thai cuisine and stylish interiors made it a popular choice. However, the impact of COVID-19 led to a downturn in business and the company's operations. Its flagship store closed, and some locations have been taken over by other companies. The Bangkok Kitchen Deli Nakameguro branch changed owners in December last year, and is now run by a cheerful and friendly Thai woman. Starting in January 2024, the restaurant will completely renovate, including staff, with Chef Ron, a veteran originally from Bangkok's Ryu Hotel. Chef Ron is a veteran chef originally from Isan. Bangkok Kitchen was one of my favorite restaurants. The Ginza Corridor Street location in particular offered luxurious interiors, hospitable service, and delicious food, making it a Thai restaurant worthy of Ginza. I remember feeling sad when it suddenly closed. This restaurant has a more homey atmosphere and seems like it would be perfect for lunch, dinner, or takeout. However, the food tastes like something you'd expect from a first-class hotel in Bangkok. The Thai cuisine is well-balanced and familiar to Japanese palate. Ron, who honed his skills at a hotel, has managed to balance authentic Thai cuisine with ease of eating. Located at the back of a narrow alley, the restaurant may seem intimidating, but once you step inside, you'll be treated to exceptionally delicious Thai food. I hope they continue to do their best. Highly recommended. #Talent #Homey #Relaxing in a Relaxing Atmosphere #Easy-to-Eat Thai Food #Chef Prepared Authentic Thai Cuisine #Must-Try Menu #Casual #Meticulously Seasoned #Carefully Prepared #Solo Dining Available #Nakameguro ”
